Our Mission
CPR Certification Tallahassee was built on the belief that knowing how to respond in a cardiac emergency should not be reserved for healthcare professionals alone. In Tallahassee, that means serving everyone from healthcare-track students and school staff to hotel teams, church volunteers, parents, and coworkers across the city and nearby communities. As an official AHA Training Site, we are authorized to issue American Heart Association certification cards directly after class completion. Our goal is straightforward: clear, practical CPR training that leaves more people in Tallahassee ready to act before EMS arrives.
Our Story
CPR Certification Tallahassee is an Official American Heart Association Training Site serving the Tallahassee community. We run AHA BLS, CPR and First Aid combo, onsite group training, and renewals for the people who anchor the Big Bend: hospital and clinic teams, state agency staff, school district employees, college students entering health programs, and parents who want hands-on preparation. Every class is led by certified AHA instructors using the same equipment and curriculum standards required by every authorized AHA training site nationwide.
What Students Can Expect
Every class follows the official AHA BLS curriculum and is led by an AHA-certified instructor. Sessions are kept small so every student gets real hands-on time with a mannequin and an AED trainer, not just watching a video. You will cover chest compressions, rescue breathing, AED operation, and two-rescuer scenarios where required by your certification level. No prior CPR experience is needed. The class is designed to start from the basics and build from there. Most students receive their BLS card the same day class is completed.
Who Takes Our Classes
Our classes draw clinical staff from Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare and HCA Florida Capital Hospital, FSU and FAMU healthcare students, Tallahassee Community College allied health programs, Leon County Schools teachers and coaches, dental practices across Killearn and Midtown, and workplace teams along Capital Circle and Mahan Drive.
AHA-Certified Instruction
Every class is taught by an instructor certified by the American Heart Association to deliver BLS training. AHA instructor certification requires completing an approved instructor course and demonstrating practical skills to a training center faculty member. That credential backs every class we offer: instruction from someone authorized to teach the AHA curriculum, not just familiar with it.
